What is the Origin of Z?
What does Orz mean?
The Origin of Z, or Orz, is a non-profit organization, that aims to provide people around the world interested in math research, especially those with worse socio-economic backgrounds, with math professors from universities across the country.
The word "orz" refers to the emoji representing a bowing person. Taking this to heart, orz is a common phrase in the math community that refers to someone who came up with a keen insight or solution to solve a problem and deserves to be bowed down to.
